1100 Gallery, Evanston, Illinois

Back home to headline a show of songs from 'debris' and others from the past six albums.  This is a cool space and a perfect listening room.  The event is free but tip jar donations and cd purchases are welcomed!

I'm tickled that the lovely and talented Michelle Weinberg, a favorite Chicagoland folk singer, will be opening this show.  Hopefully our roles will be reversed in the near future.

David Hinske is a nomadic troubadour that has logged performances across America. Currently living in Chicagoland, he will be performing selections from his award winning albums of poetic musical observations.  This will be his first post-pandemic performance and will mark the release of his fifth album, ‘Departures’, and coincidentally, his 66th birthday.

New album of ten songs out now! I will be doing a short and small national tour of intimate listening rooms and house concerts in support of this album. By choice I haven't been performing live much these days and I appreciate your support as I get out there and share these songs with you. Dates TBD shortly. Happy to take suggestions on venues and/or hosts. Thanks!
